Boezemmolen nr6, Haastrecht
The Boezemmolen nr6 in Haastrecht is a historic polder mill that was formerly used to pump excess water from the low-lying polders into a higher-lying drainage basin. From that basin the water could be further discharged toward the Hollandse IJssel. In this way the mill helped keep the surrounding land dry and prevent flooding.
