Low water in the Nederrijn near Arnhem
€ 19,50excl. VATThis is the location near Huissen in Gelderland where the IJssel branches off from the Nederrijn (left). The effects of the prolonged extreme drought on shipping are clearly visible here: the water level has decreased so much that shipping has to drastically adjust their draft by roughly halving their cargo. Normally the sandbanks now visible to the left and right of the river are submerged. In the background the Pley Bridge with part of the N325 road is visible, with behind it part of Arnhem-South. The N325 connects Arnhem-South with the Velperbroekcircuit.

Eusebiuskerk and John Frostbrug in Arnhem, Netherlands
€ 19,50excl. VATThis is a photo of the River Rhine at Arnhem. On the left we see the Sint Eusebiuskerk and on the right the famous John Frostbrug, originally called Rijnbrug. This bridge played an important leading role in World War II because of the airborne landing and battle of the Allied troops in September 1944 as part of Operatie Market Garden. The bridge is named after the English lieutenant-colonel John Dutton Frost and has become a place of pilgrimage for veterans, bereaved and other interested people concerning the Slag om Arnhem.

Artwork "Blue Waves" at Rijnkade in Arnhem
€ 19,50excl. VATThe artwork "Blue Waves" (1977) in Arnhem is a national monument and one of the most important environmental artworks of the 1970s in the Netherlands. The Roermondspleinbrug connected the city centre with the growing district Arnhem-Zuid. Artist Peter Struycken received in 1974 from the municipality of Arnhem the commission to shape the area "visually". He chose a waving cobblestone carpet with diagonal blue and white bands. On this site free parking was allowed. The location is exactly at the place where the old harbour used to be. Hence also the wave pattern.

Driel, Gelderland, Netherlands
Driel weir and lock complex
€ 19,50excl. VATThis is the weir and lock complex in the Nederrijn at Driel. It consists of a weir, a navigation lock and a fish ladder. The navigation width is 2x 48 metres and is 20.6 metres high. The weir has an important function in the water distribution of the River Rhine in the Netherlands: obtaining sufficient fresh water in the north of the Netherlands and good navigability of the River IJssel. Because of the operation of the weir, a larger part of the Rhine's discharge goes via the IJssel to the IJsselmeer.
