Background information
The Hembrugterrein (about 42–45 ha) housed from 1895 the munitions and arms factory Artillerie Inrichtingen. Since 2018/2019 the development consortium Hembrug Zaandam B.V. has been working on the redevelopment and sale of parts of the site.
