Phoenix building on the Oude Rijn

The Phoenix in Bodegraven, on the Oude Rijn, is a distinctive former warehouse with a tall factory chimney. The building stands directly on the quay, with moored boats and terraced houses along the waterfront.

Background information

Originally built as an oil mill around 1905–1915; later used by Andrélon. The municipal monument has been restored and converted into residential apartments.
